Born and raised in Los Angeles, Michael Wunderman's journey in the world of luxury timepieces began at the tender age of 19 with Gucci Timepieces, following in the footsteps of his father, Severin Wunderman, a pioneer in the fashion watch category.
Michael Wunderman's cosmopolitan upbringing, including his time at boarding school near London, exposed him early to the European way of life and laid the foundation for his borderless and limitless mindset. His career trajectory has been marked by innovation, leadership, and a defiance of the status quo, culminating in his role as president of Corum from 2004 to 2008, where he achieved significant growth for the brand.
Inspired by his travels and immersive experiences, from the pulsating nightlife of Ibiza to the transformative atmosphere of Burning Man, Michael Wunderman realized that conventional watch designs failed to capture the true vibrancy of life. Today, Michael Wunderman lives with his beautiful Brazilian wife, Janini, and their two young children in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
